Birchwood Lodge stands prominently on a hill in Sister Bay, no doubt attracting the gaze of walkers, cyclists, or drivers on highways 42 and 57. Recently, the complete exterior of lodge and the Farm House have been brightened with a fresh, new coat of white paint and green trim, making these buildings even more noticeable and attractive. A professional painting crew spent the entire month of July and part of August painting the outside walls and trim. The refreshed exterior makes Birchwood Lodge stand out clearly against the bright blue skies and beautiful landscape around the property.
