Winter is not yet in full swing but that doesn’t mean you can’t start thinking and planning for Spring special events in Door County. Registration for the May 3, 2014 Door County Half Marathon opened Nov. 1st! There are big savings if you register before Jan. 1, and last year’s race filled two months before race day! Registration includes a tech t-shirt, as well as a half marathon drawstring runner’s bag, food and beverages in the runners’ concourse, and a drink ticket for beer or soda at the post-race party in Sister Bay as well as other sponsor restaurants. Registration for the Door County Half Marathon is limited to 1,800 runners, while the Nicolet Bay 5k is limited to 550 runners. Once these caps are reached, registration will close. Be our guest at Birchwood Lodge in Sister Bay during your Door County Half Marathon event. You will receive a discounted room rate for your stay in a Premier Suite with a king size bed, whirlpool tub, gas fireplace, kitchenette, full bathroom and private deck/balcony.
